About Christine

Artist Statement

I create abstract mixed media artworks on paper and canvas using layers of colour, texture, mark making and detail that form a visual language.

My work comes from a deep connection to the creative process. I show up, listen and allow the work to flow. The art becomes a translation of something unseen into a visual experience.

At the heart of my work is the moment when the invisible becomes visible, when something emerges through the process of creation and takes form. Each artwork offers the viewer an opportunity to connect with that experience in their own way.

Behind the scenes

A glimpse into the spaces and moments where my work comes to life, quiet studio corners, the unfolding of ideas, and the subtle ways the paintings find their place.
